Blake L. Jones, Ph.D., LCSW
"I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1998, and together with my wife, Lori, I co-own the Compass Center in Midway, Kentucky. After more than 25 years of teaching at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, I recently stepped away from the classroom to focus more on my practice and community work.
As a first-generation college student, I’m especially proud of my journey through Berea College, where I graduated in 1992, and later earned both my master’s in social work and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of publishing research in the social work field, but my true passion lies in sitting across from people and helping them navigate life’s challenges. I especially enjoy working with first responders and their families, supporting those facing spiritual struggles, and helping couples strengthen their relationships.
Outside of the office, I host the Guided podcast, drive a Jeep with the top down whenever I can, and spend a lot of time making music as a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter."

“Hi, I'm Rachael! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the beautiful state of Kentucky. I work with teens and adults to treat anxiety and depression, learn skills to cope with stress, navigate life transitions, practice better self-care, and more. I have experience working with people with disabilities, young moms, and the LGBTQ+ community.
I take a strengths-based and person-centered approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and more.
When I'm not working, you can find me in one of my two happy places: at home with my husband, our two kids, and our dog, or playing outside somewhere. I enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, and traveling. I love a good cup of coffee, art in any form, and helping others chase their passions and achieve their goals.”
Cassandra "Casey" Miller, LCSW
"Hi! I’m a native Kentuckian who feels passionately about providing supportive mental health counseling to individuals in need. My approach is genuine and caring. I aim to foster a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere during sessions with my clients. I welcome adults who may be facing relationship problems, grief and loss issues, the effects of trauma, mental health concerns, or other challenges.
My professional history includes doing clinical work at a state psychiatric hospital, assessment and evaluations for community organizations, and private practice counseling. I am fully licensed by the state of Kentucky to offer therapeutic services as an independent practitioner. I use elements of evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, Family Systems, Strengths-Based, parts work, and other modalities to facilitate the healing process.
In my personal time, I often migrate to the nearest coffee shop to relax. I tend to devote as much time as possible to my family and friends. And I’m always trying to find more time for gardening and writing!"
